ELEMENTAL YOGA VALUES

We cultivate a foundation of gratitude and abundance for all that we have and all that we are.

As we appreciate the dance of give and take, we tune in to the divine feminine within.

We pursue our personal truth with optimism and show up for ourselves daily. We truly step onto our path with confidence.

We are all connected and as we find our way to our true selves, and live our destinies, we find mindful connections within our communities and within ourselves.

Tea here, to introduce myself to you all.

I am an artist and yoga teacher, travelling the world, on a grand adventure to dive deep into the human condition. I write, photograph and film my journey and share my offerings with my fellow Goddesses.

My yoga training began in the United States, where I studied with the amazing Shiva Rea and qualified in Prana Vinyasa Flow Yoga.

My teaching style has been informed by my passion for dance, which drew me into the contemporary dance world where I worked as a massage therapist, and conditioning specialist, supporting dancers health and wellbeing for many years.

I began cultivating a yoga style, based on vinyasa flow, but also incorporating ballet stetches, core strength, and myofascial release techniques.

My students were mostly women, and I was inspired to train in pregnancy yoga to support our feminine journey into motherhood. It was this training with midwives which gave me a very grounded understanding of the fundamental physiological structure of women's bodies.

Yoga has been designed for male bodies, and so I began to explore new ways of moving that support the female form. And Skydance Yoga was born.

Running parallel to my yoga journey has been my art journey.

I trained in Londong England at Central St Martins College of Art and Design. I lived and worked in London for many years.

My favorite place to be during those years was at the National Gallery in Trafalgar Square. And then step back out into the wonders of London, such a fascinating and inspiring city for an artist. So many street performers, so many shows, exhibitions and events to gather inspiration from.

But I did struggle with my creativity, my confidence and my belief in myself as an artist. I was happier supporting others in their creative journey rather than following my own path.

It did take a  health crisis to wake me up, and send me back into my art studies, and finally find my way as an artist. I began to face my fears and let go of my limitations and found the gift of creative freedom.

It is all those skills and techniques I share with my students, my fellow Creative Goddesses out there who are looking for guidance, nurture and support on their own healing journey.

I have been living in Australia for the past four years and have been creating films and online courses to support our Creative Goddess journey.

In my travels I have crossed paths with many like minded beautiful women, who have offered their support and nurture and are part of our Skydance Yoga Inner Circle. This gorgeous network of heart centred creative women are such a vital part of my journey, as we help each other to follow our dreams.
